A free motorhome stopover in the car park at Dammsjön bathing area outside Solvarbo, between Säter and Borlänge. The gravel area in pine woodland accommodates around twenty motorhomes, with a maximum stay of 24 hours; note that the ground slopes in places. The bathing area has dry toilets, waste bins and a gently shelving sandy beach, making the lake a popular day-trip destination; it can fill up on sunny summer weekends. No electricity, water or disposal facilities. Open all year.
