What information is processed?
You can use Campingkollen without creating an account. When you simply visit the site, technical information needed to operate the website is normally processed, such as your IP address, browser, the time and the page requested.
If you send feedback, we may process the information you enter in the form, such as a place name, link, message and email address if you choose to provide one.
Why is the information processed?
- To display the website and protect it from misuse.
- To receive and follow up error reports, new places and suggestions for improvements.
- To understand how the site is used and improve its content, navigation and performance.
Feedback and contact
Feedback is sent to Campingkollen and used to correct place information or get back to you if you have asked to be contacted. Do not include sensitive information in the form. If you provide your email address, it is used only to reply to your enquiry.
Analytics and cookies
Campingkollen uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. Google tags may load before you make your cookie choice. Without consent, analytics and advertising storage are denied, but cookieless signals may be sent to Google for analytics and ad measurement. Read more in our cookie policy.
When you consent, Google signals may be used for aggregated reports covering, for example, estimated demographics, interests and use across multiple devices. This data relates to Google users who are signed in and have enabled ad personalisation. Campingkollen cannot identify an individual visitor through these reports.
Sharing with third parties
The website may use technical providers for hosting, email, security and analytics. Data is not sold on. Links to external maps, campsites, municipalities or other websites are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Retention
Feedback is retained for as long as it is needed to handle the enquiry, improve place information or protect the service from misuse. Technical logs are normally retained only for as long as they are needed for operations and security.
