Gunnars Camping in Älvdalen
One of Dalarna’s smallest campsites, at Hemgården beside the upper waterfall on the Grövlan, along the road towards Grövelsjön in the Idre mountains. Every pitch has electricity sockets, and disposal facilities are available during the summer season; a wood-fired sauna can be booked. Open all year, with daily pitches and seasonal pitches in winter. You must book through the booking system before arrival to receive the gate code; the Fjällbua mountain shop is nearby.
