Håveruds Camping in Mellerud
Håveruds Camping lies by the famous aqueduct on Dalslands kanal in Mellerud, a couple of hundred metres from the locks, and is run by Håfreströms IF. The campsite has 44 pitches with electric hook-up for motorhomes and caravans, a camping cabin, and a facilities block with toilets, a shower, a washing machine/tumble dryer and a cooker. Fees are collected on Friday and Saturday evenings and on weekday mornings. The spectacular sheet-metal aqueduct, crossed by both road and railway bridges, is one of Dalsland’s best-known attractions. Booking in advance is recommended in high season.
