Hedarfjorden Syd lägerplats in Älvdalen
One of Älvdalen municipality’s camping areas along the Österdalälven: eight pitches in pine woodland by Hedarfjorden, a quiet widening of the river just under thirty kilometres south of Idre, signposted from road 70. Tents, caravans and motorhomes are expressly permitted at the municipal camping areas. Facilities are basic, with an outdoor dry toilet and lean-to shelter with a fireplace; there is no water, electricity or disposal. The fee is SEK 60 per night or SEK 300 per week, paid in cash at the on-site machine or by Swish. Open 1 May–31 October.
