Hunnebergs Gård in Vargön offers camping at the foot of Hunneberg and Halleberg, with room for tents, motorhomes and campervans on grounds covering 39,000 m². No advance booking is needed, and guests have access to fresh water and the hostel’s showers, toilets, kitchen, washing machines and tumble dryers. A pitch without electricity costs SEK 225 per night in the October–March low season and SEK 325 from April to September; with electricity, the prices are SEK 275 and SEK 375 respectively. Card payments are only possible while reception is open. This is a convenient starting point for a cycle tour around Vänern or exploring the plateau mountains.
