Kanalmagasinets gästhamn Mem in Söderköping
Kanalmagasinet is in Mem, where Göta kanal flows into Slätbaksviken, around ten kilometres east of Söderköping. There are just four motorhome pitches, all with electricity, right beside the canal and bay. There is no water, toilet, shower or chemical toilet disposal at all, as the warehouse is not connected to the municipal sewerage system – plan accordingly. A café and restaurant overlooking the canal are 200 metres away, and this is where you pay in cash; pitches cannot be booked in advance and are allocated subject to availability. The price is SEK 325/night including electricity, and the site is open May–September (weekends only in May).
