Kårehamn in Borgholm
Kårehamn is a municipal motorhome stopover in the fishing harbour on northern Öland's east coast, near a fish shop, restaurant and beach. Borgholm municipality lists 45 pitches, including 30 with electricity, plus toilets, an accessible toilet, showers, chemical toilet disposal and grey water disposal. Pitches cannot be booked in advance; payment is by Swish, card or cash to the harbourmaster. The 2026 fee starts at SEK 215/day in low season and SEK 310/day in weeks 25–33, with electricity optional.
