Savannen is Alingsås municipality’s free motorhome parking area by the old Vänersborgsvägen, a stone’s throw from Landskyrkan and the centre. There is room for around ten motorhomes on a spacious area with a 24-hour limit. There is no electricity, water or disposal facility – this is simply a parking area, and entry and exit are from the south through the ordinary car park. For full facilities, the municipality refers visitors to Lövekulle and Lygnared campsites. Open all year and free of charge.
