The motorhome stopover by the locks is about two kilometres from central Trollhättan, amid one of the country’s most spectacular industrial landscapes beside Trollhätte kanal. There are 21 pitches, all with electric hook-up, and access to fresh water and chemical toilet disposal during spring, summer and early autumn. Pitches are first come, first served and cannot be booked in advance. From here you can watch boats passing through the locks and reach the Kopparklinten viewpoint. Prices from SEK 200 per night, open April–September.
