Södra strand in Motala
Södra Strand is a lakeside motorhome stopover on Fabriksgatan in Motala, around five minutes’ walk from the centre, overlooking Vättern. There are twenty-eight spacious pitches for motorhomes only (caravans are not allowed under the planning permission), all with electricity and free Wi-Fi. The facilities building has two toilets and a shower, fresh water and a disposal room for grey and black water, and waste is separated for recycling on site. The site is open round the clock, year-round, with drop-in arrivals and CCTV – no advance booking; payment is online by card or invoice. Prices start at SEK 250/night; the site fills up early in high season.
