Stora Rödje has a scenic setting by Lake Sommen in Norra Vi in Ydre municipality, right beside the Östgötaleden trail and Kungabordet viewpoint. The farm offers motorhome pitches alongside a summer café, a flea market on certain days, a sauna and kayak hire, and at Kungabordet there is a wind shelter with a fire pit and a toilet. For stopover guests, the sauna costs SEK 250 for the first hour and SEK 100/hour thereafter. A quiet stop close to nature for swimming, paddling or walking along the trail beside Sommen during the warmer half of the year.
