Vättersol Stugor & Camping in Motala

Vättersol Stugor & Camping is run by volunteers from DHR Motala, around 150 metres from the sandy Varamobaden beach on Vättern. The site offers camping pitches, motorhome stopovers and cabins, with restaurants and mini golf nearby. Throughout the 2026 season, a neighbouring construction project operates 07:00–16:00 Monday–Friday, so camping pitches cannot be booked in advance and are allocated in arrival order. Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out at 12:00; dogs must be kept on leads and taken outside the campsite to relieve themselves.
