Run by Dalstuga Intresseklubb, it offers pitches without advance booking at SEK 200/night with electricity (SEK 100 without), a weekly rate of SEK 800, or a May–September seasonal pitch for SEK 3 000 plus electricity used. Facilities are basic: an outdoor dry toilet, washing-up station and grey water disposal. Advance booking is by text message, mainly for seasonal pitches and groups. Oxriset, also called Sågudden, is Bärke Husvagnsclub’s club campsite by the lake outside Sunnansjö in Ludvika municipality, run by the association since 1992. Membership is limited to residents of Ludvika and Smedjebacken municipalities, and lakeside seasonal pitches are allocated through a waiting list; facilities include a sauna, boules court and shared kitchen. Whether visiting motorhomes can stay overnight is unconfirmed; contact the club before visiting.

Tängerdalens Camping & Café operates from a former 19th-century school in Övertänger in Enviken, in the north of Falun municipality, beside road 50, thirty kilometres from Falun. There are motorhome pitches beside Lake Tängran with a private bathing beach, as well as rooms to rent. Guests have access to a WC, shower, waste disposal, well-equipped kitchen and washing machine, along with a sauna, gym and table tennis. Canoes, kayaks and SUP boards are available to hire, and the café sells light refreshments. Prices from SEK 300 per night. Open all year.

Leafy campsite on the bank of Västerdalälven, right by the finish of Vansbrosimningen and within walking distance of Vansbro's shops, restaurants, gym and indoor swimming pool. There are 73 pitches and nine cabins, one adapted for disabled guests, plus a facilities block with a kitchen, laundry facilities, toilets and showers. A heated outdoor pool is about 150 metres from the site. The campsite is now locally run (formerly Nordic Camping) and is open all year, with a staffed reception in summer.

Quiet rural campsite on the northern shore of Venjanssjön in Venjan, forty kilometres west of Mora. Vikarbygården in Vikarbyn west of Rättvik is run by the village association. It operates as a basic motorhome stopover in spring and autumn (8 May–14 June and 15 August–27 September), and as a campsite with around 40 pitches, just over half with electricity, during high season, 18 June–14 August. During the stopover periods, the cost is SEK 200 per day without electricity or SEK 250 per day with electricity, with a maximum stay of five nights and payment by Swish only. Drinking water, waste disposal and chemical toilet disposal are available then, but there are no showers or toilets. No advance bookings except for Midsummer.

Vildmarksfisket i Mora is a quiet little campsite at the sport fishing facility in Fuänget outside Färnäs, east of Mora. Pitches are by Stortjärn, which has a sandy beach: lakeside pitches without electricity and pitches with electric hook-up on higher ground. The price is SEK 150 per night without electricity and SEK 200 per night with electricity; book through Campcation. A shower is available in a small facilities block, with dry toilets across the road; there is no chemical toilet or grey water disposal.
